民政党峇都区部等人在峇都区民政党服务中心协调员刘华才博士的率领下，适逢哈芝节于上周末走访了峇都区英丹拜杜里人民组屋和柏林京人民组屋区，赠送白米予这两所人民组屋区的穆斯林贫苦家庭，也包括印裔穆斯林，总共有20个贫苦家庭在这次的活动中受惠。
"这也是我们庆祝哈芝节的其中一项活动，我们希望能献上一份关怀与爱心给贫苦家庭，以减轻他们的经济负担，也同时探访并了解他们的起居生活，让哈芝节日更显温馨。在马来西亚这个多元文化的国度里，我们秉持互相尊重的精神，共同欢庆各种族的节日。我也借此感谢其他国阵成员党的参与和帮忙。"刘华才表示。
刘华才博士也补充，这也是民政党峇都区部在推广"我爱峇都"计划下所展开的一系列活动之一。民政党将持续服务峇都国会选区的居民，照顾弱势群体，并解决他们的民生问题和提高他们的生活素质。

Last weekend, members of Gerakan Batu Division led by Batu Gerakan Service Centre Coordinator Dr. Dominic Lau have visited PPR flats in both Taman Intan Baiduri and Taman Beringgin in order to donate rice to the poor Muslim families reside in these two PPR flats, including Indian Muslim, there were 20 poor families benefited from this activity.
"It was one of our activities to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha, we hoped to dedicate our love and care to the poor families, to alleviate their financial burden while at the same time to pay a visit and have a better understanding of their livelihood, so that the Hari Raya Aidiladha will be warmer. In Malaysia which is a multicultural country, we uphold the spirit of mutual respect, together we celebrate the festivals of all races. I also would like to take this opportunity to thank members of BN component parties for their participation and help," said Dr. Dominic Lau.
Dr. Dominic Lau also added that it was one in a series of activities under the "I Love Batu" plan that Gerakan Batu Division has been promoting. Gerakan would continue to serve the residents of Batu parliamentary constituency, care for the disadvantaged groups, solve their livelihood problems and improve their quality of life
