DOMINIC LAU: PROPOSAL FOR REMOVAL OF FOUR MINISTERS NO POLITICAL AGENDA

Gerakan President Datuk Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai today countered the criticism of the Entrepreneur Development Minister Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof, who asked him "return to school" and believed that the latter should return to school.

 

He said that the reason he suggested Prime Minister to remove Redzuan was not that he proposed the concept of "flying car", but because it is unrealistic to study the "flying car" with merely RM1 million.

 

"If we can't even build a good car, why do we have to build 'flying car'? Why don't we  develop artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT)?"

 

Datuk Dr Dominic Lau made a statement today to also remind Redzuan as the Entrepreneur Minister, his main job is to assist local young people and young entrepreneurs to develop profitable businesses and markets; as for new science and new technology should belong Energy, Science, Technology, Climate Change and the Environment Ministry.

 

He also refuted that the proposal of the removal of four ministers without political agenda. On the contrary, Gerakan hoped that more suitable people will serve in these ministerial positions to ensure that the government can serve the people effectively.

 

"We don't have a political agenda. We just commended on the performance of the ministers. We just voice out  for the people."
