民政党峇都区部同人于昨日(11月25日) 在峇都区民政党服务中心协调员刘华才博士的率领下，走访了冼都Sentul Utama 小贩中心，连同当地的小贩公会一起重铺小贩中心后面的小路，给居民们带来更多的便利。
峇都区民政党服务中心协调员刘华才博士指出，他们是接获当地小贩的投诉，指这条通行天桥只供电单车使用的小路，可直接联系到DUKE大道前往旺沙马朱，路面已经损坏出现破洞，给当地居民带来诸多不便。根据了解，这条小路一天近有500-600人使用，来联系DUKE大道前往旺沙马朱和到附近的清真寺进行祈祷。虽然当地居民早前已经向吉隆坡市政局反映路面损坏一事，但隆市政局声称这是DUKE大道公司的管辖之内，不加理会。而DUKE大道公司也迟迟未有进一步改善行动。
"隆市政局与DUKE大道公司的互相推卸责任，最终苦的是人民。因此民政党峇都区部决定召集当地的小贩公会成员，一起携手把小路铺好。"刘华才表示。
刘华才博士也补充，民政党将持续服务峇都国会选区的居民，并解决他们的民生问题和提高他们的生活素质。

Yesterday (25 November), members of Gerakan Batu Division led by Batu Gerakan Service Centre Coordinator Dr. Dominic Lau Hoe Chai have visited the hawker centre in Sentul Utama, along with the local Hawkers Association they paved the lane located behind the hawker centre, bringing more convenience to the residents.
Batu Gerakan Service Centre Coordinator Dr. Dominic Lau said that they have received complaints from the local hawkers saying that this lane leads to the flyover is only for the motorcycle passage, which directly links to the DUKE highway heading to Wangsa Maju, the surface of the lane was damaged with potholes and caused a lot of inconvenience to the local residents. It is understood that nearly 500-600 people use this lane in a day to link to DUKE highway and head to Wangsa Maju and the mosque nearby to do the prayer. Despite the local residents had earlier reflected the damage of the lane to the DBKL, however DBKL responded by claiming that it is under the jurisdiction of the DUKE Highway Company and thus failed to heed. While the DUKE Highway Company kept on delaying without any action to make improvement.
"Both the DBKL and DUKE Highway Company have shirked their responsibility to the opposite, the ultimate losers were the people. Therefore, Gerakan Batu Division decided to gather the members of the local Hawkers Association to pave the lane altogether," said Dr. Dominic Lau.
Dr. Dominic Lau also added that Gerakan would continue to serve the residents of Batu parliamentary constituency, solve their livelihood problems as well as to improve their quality of life.
